Dark Matter is an exhibition of large, interactive installations and video projections.
The works which comprise the installation merge theories of quantum physics with real human experience and perceptions to create dynamic environments which can be explored and experienced. During a viewers experience in the space, their movement and interaction will be suggested or controlled by elements of the installation: at times an individuals movement will be completely free to explore space; at other moments an individual will be limited and compelled to interact with others; at the apex of their experience, if an individual chooses, they will be completely segregated from all movement, interaction and limited in their sensory perception.
It is through this process of being immersed, in an analogical environment and changing relationships to self –perception/personal space, that viewers are given the opportunity to have an experience where the perceived scale of the individual is constantly in flux so that they are metaphorically reincarnated as entities imperceptible to the human scale.

In the exhibition these two videos are played on a loop which is projected on 7m wide screens that face each other. separated by time, space and politics these videos attempt to capture the gestalt of each nation by documenting it from one end to the opposite.
