I can't say it is the best (cup)cake ever, however for the time, simplicity, taste, texture and health-ish-ness it is worth making. I add a bit of ginger powder(2/3rd tsp) to the icing which seems to be enjoyed even among those who don't like ginger - much to my surprise.
It only takes about 30 minutes from start to taking cupcakes out of the oven(a little bit longer for the cake). I made the recipe as cupcakes once, not knowing how much they would be enjoyed, and was asked to make them again a couple of days later. Right now I'm making the cake version of the recipe for an event at Ptarmigan which is happening tonight.
